This year, our students are again participating in the Bavarian School Cinema Days. The films, shown during School Cinema Week, are selected by media film educators aligned with school subject curriculum topics. Our children will watch age-appropriate films of cultural significance.
Children will travel to the movie theater by bus. Please have your child at school by 7:45 AM. We need to depart punctually at
8:00 AM!
Students in grades 1/2 will watch the film
“Fuchs und Hase retten den Wald”
Children in grades 3/4 will see:
“Strange World”
As a precaution, please send your child with
- a small backpack containing a snack and a drink.
- and small amount of money so that children can buy one snack and/or one drink
(no soda or energy drinks). è We will decide on-site whether there is enough time to stop at the snack stand. - The cost for admission and bus transportation is €7.80 and will be debited from your account in May. Bus costs must be covered even if a child cannot participate (e.g., due to illness).
Lunch will take place at school as usual.

Computer Mice (Computermaeuseverein Stamsried) is a youth protection initiative for the safe use of digital media. The organization is non-profit; Ms. Zwicknagel is the chairperson. They offer fast, free support for questions about digital media!
Ms. Birgit Zwicknagel will present (on the topic of children’s media literacy) and will also lead the workshop for the children.
